It’s been a while since Zayn Malik released new music, but his fans haven’t gone anywhere – and he appreciates it.
On Saturday, former One Direction member twitter and addressed his audience for the first time in months, expressing his appreciation for their continued support.
“I want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout this wonderful journey, especially my fans, to whom I owe my life,” the 30-year-old “Pillowtalk” singer-songwriter wrote.
“I love and adore you and I see everything you do for me,” Malik continued.
While the musician isn’t completely inactive on social media – he tweeted about a professional wrestling match earlier this month – the new post marks the first time he’s spoken directly to fans since last year.

News of the trip went viral on TikTok after @klarissa.mpeg shared a text exchange with a friend who claimed she was the couple’s stewardess at an unnamed restaurant in town.
After revealing that she and her friend both work at celebrity favorite venues, she shared a screenshot of her friend’s text message: “Tell me how Selena Gomez and Zayn just walked in. [restaurant] I sat them down while they were making love hand in hand.”
Malik has not publicly dated anyone since he ended his relationship with model Gigi Hadid in October 2021. She shares the couple’s 2½-year-old daughter, Khai, who first bonded in 2015.
