Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are reportedly working on their relationship but aren’t planning on going down the aisle anytime soon.
“They’re slowly working on reconciliation, but he’s still completely in the kennel,” a source told People on Friday.
An insider claimed that Kelly, 33, did “everything he could” to officially get the 37-year-old Fox back.
“It makes him work for it,” the source added.
“It’s an unhealthy dynamic, though, and his friends don’t think it’s permanent.”
Representatives for both did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
Kelly was spotted walking the red carpet for Sports Illustrated’s party on Thursday honoring the cover of Fox’s 2023 Swimsuit Issue.
However, the “Bloody Valentine” singer posed solo for photos, while the “Transformers” star did press interviews alone.
That same evening, Fox supported Kelly by attending a show with Travis Barker at Lovesac’s 25th anniversary event in New York City.
The actress was not seen wearing the two-stone engagement ring that the rocker had given her.
Fox announced in January 2022 that Kelly had proposed to her under a “banyan tree.”
The couple met in March 2020 while filming “Midnight in the Switchgrass” amid the “Jennifer’s Body” star split from “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Brian Austin Green.
After months of PDA-filled red carpets, Fox deleted all of her social media photos with the NSC in February and cryptically posted a slide show, “You can taste the fraud / your breath is everywhere.”
The “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” star took off her engagement ring soon after.
But Fox and Kelly started working on their problems the moment they were spotted visiting a couple’s counselor’s office.

Sources privately told Page Six that the couple was having trouble at the time because the “Holiday in the Sun” actress found “suspicious” texts and DMs on the “Emo Girl” singer’s phone.
Fox later denied that cheating was behind his and Kelly’s relationship problems.
“There was no third party interference in this relationship. This includes, but is not limited to… real people, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons,” he wrote on Instagram on Feb.
The couple has continued to go to therapy ever since and took a vacation to Hawaii amid reconciliation efforts.
