Bonnie Wright may not be married to Harry Potter in real life, but her relationship with husband Andrew Lococo is just as magical.

In a YouTube video chronicling her wedding, Wright said she and Lococo were set up by their mutual friend Georgia. Wright said he and Georgia met when they co-hosted Waste Watch, a sustainability meetup group in Los Angeles.
“Georgia introduced Andrew and I and she managed us and it was lovely,” Wright said. “It was very poetic.”

Although it’s unclear exactly how long the two have been together, Wright began sharing low-key photos of the pair towards the end of 2020. In a September 2020 post, Lococo stared at Wright’s dog, and the actress jokingly captioned the post: “They’re their own language.”
In another subtle post of Lococo with her dog, she first wished him a happy birthday in November 2020, writing: “♥️happy birthday andrew ♥️.”

Although Wright has lived in Los Angeles for some time, he decided to move to San Diego, where Lococo lives, in early 2022. He shared more information about his decision in a YouTube video, revealing that Lococo plans to move to Los Angeles. A homeowner in Angeles decided to register his house and thought it was time to move in together.
“I didn’t want to live there forever, I had two great years there,” he explained. “Andrew and I had been moving back and forth between these two cities for a long time, so we were ready to live in the same place, so Andrew’s house is now our home.”
He stated that the house was almost a century old and Lococo had lived there for 10 years.

A few months later, Wright and Lococo were married on March 19, 2022, at the Ecology Center in San Juan Capistrano, California.
“We admire everything the Ecology Center represents,” Wright said brides in an exclusive interview about the celebration. “As we said, ‘We do,’ we loved the idea of being surrounded by nutritious plants growing abundantly.”
The bride wore a vintage dress, and the couple’s rings were designed by Wright’s parents, who own a jewelry company called Wright & Teague. They got married in a vegetable garden decorated with pink carpet and rainbow arches.
The couple kept their wedding simple and personal, handmade decorations as best they could and enlisted the help of friends.
“As sustainability-conscious people, we didn’t fill the day with things we didn’t really need, but still made sure everything looked lush and generous. I designed our bar and dinner menu,” she said. A year after their wedding, Wright said looking back, there was nothing he could have done differently.

Wright first announced the happy news she was expecting on Instagram, a little over a year after her and Lococo’s one-year anniversary.
“We’re going to have a baby! I’m so excited to share this beautiful land with them,” she captioned the photo, which showed Lococo hugging her pregnant belly in the field.
“Pregnancy is such a wild and humbling journey, transforming to make room for new life,” she continued. “Andrew and I can’t wait to meet our baby and become parents later this year 🥹🌈 It feels like they’re coming to say hello to the little rainbow ball in my belly.”
A few months later, on September 19, 2023, their first child was born, named Elio Ocean Wright Lococo.
“Say hello 🩵 to Elio Ocean Wright Lococo, born at home on Tuesday, September 19th,” she wrote on Instagram, announcing the birth of her son. “We are all healthy and happy. Andrew and I are so in love with our sun 🌞! We are so grateful to our birth team who held our hand throughout this process and made the journey so enjoyable and expanding. Birth is the wildest experience!”
His friend Harry Potter Lead actors, including James Phelps and Evanna Lynch, pointed out that the baby shares her birthday with the popular fictional character of the series, Hermione Granger.
