This Sex and the City alum is married to Josie Hart, whom he married on June 24, 2023. Although the couple started dating only a few years ago, their friendship goes back decades.

Before Underwood started dating actor Hart – between her credits Dear White People, Sex and the City, The New Adventures of Old Christine And Quantico – He was married to Desiree DaCosta for 27 years.
The former couple welcomed three children together: sons Paris and Blake and daughter Brielle. Underwood and DaCosta announced their separation in 2021.

Underwood and Hart first met at the age of 16, a long-standing friendship. LA Law The actor drew attention to an Instagram post announcing their engagement in November 2022. “She had my back even before I became an actress,” Underwood wrote.
While speaking to PEOPLE, the actor explained that they live “parallel, separate lives” because they live with their children on the East Coast and he lives primarily on the West Coast of California. Therefore, they “rarely saw each other.”
But they remained “great friends” over the years. Not just Underwood and Hart, but each of their offspring. “We’ve always been very good friends. And I’m talking about the whole family,” she said.
