Antibiotic use, birth control pills, stress, unhealthy diet, tight clothes, menopause, sexual intercourse, weakened immune system, monthly menstrual cycle and personal care products can also be found in the vagina. It causes fungus formation that will cause itching. However, bacterial infections can also cause vaginal itching. Washing the vagina with soaps and shower gels, hair removal, epilation, perfumed toilet papers and pads, and using chemical products that cause irritation can also cause itching by causing a reaction.
