Brad Garrett knows he’s not the softest criminal.
The 63-year-old actor remembered the last item he tried to steal from the set, which was Frank and Marie’s avocado green dial-up phone from the hit sitcom. Everyone loves Raymond.
“I wanted to steal it and said ‘What are you doing?’ I’m like, ‘Nothing.’ He was really lame,” she tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue. They said, “You want this phone?” Rhonda, the head of props, gave it to me, and that’s why I value it so much.
Actress in new Apple TV+ series High Desertspoke to PEOPLE for One Last Thing. Here are their answers.
Last vise: A 1970 Aston Martin DB6 Mk II that I recently restored. This was a long dream car that I have always loved since the days of James Bond. Cars are kind of my addiction.
The last thing I got from the set: A phone with an avocado green dial that Frank and Marie belonged to. Everyone loves Raymond It sits in my office and I value it. There was a lot of discussion on that phone when Marie was going to break everyone’s heart.
My latest gift: My family is into fishing. My son [Maxwell] and I grew up with aquariums. She’s a nurse and she adds so much to people’s lives. He had this tank he wanted, so I bought it for him.
I sang out loud for the last time: I really liked the song “I Will Always Love My Mom” by Intruders on Mother’s Day. I’m a little deaf, but I love to sing. Motown, R&B, jazz are my go-tos.
The last time I rated my dad: I introduced my daughter Hope to Austin Butler at a gala party on Elvis’ birthday. I might have been a little more excited, I won’t lie. “Please, schedule the wedding as soon as possible,” she said.
