Speaking at The Daily Beast’s Obsessed at Apple FYC Red Carpet event, Lance lauded his decision to feature Trent. Ted Lasso story. His favorite part, though, is not on the air this season. Lance says he likes to be around the team more often.
“Everybody’s Really funny,” Lance says, chuckling as he glances at his fellow cast members at the event. Every day On set, it was a privilege he didn’t have when he was just a reporter. Independent.
Plus, his increased presence meant: Ted Lasso It might shed some light on Trent’s past. In “Sunflowers”, where the crew travels to Amsterdam, Trent comes out as gay to Colin (Billy Harris), a secret member of the crew.

“William Shatner, before going into space, The only journalist he would talk to was Trent Crimm.. He tweeted this and I know this because someone sent it to me,” Lance said. “It did not succeed. We miss an opportunity there.”
So what would happen in the show? “He should get Trent to do an interview where he tells Crimm about going into space, but there’s a caveat: Trent insists he do it with a space shuttle,” Lance said. “When they get there, things go wrong.”
And if we’re going to make a spin-off all about Trent Crimm, he’s going to need a love interest. Lance already has one star in mind: Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes. Walking Dead.
“Let’s get him inside!” asked. As Trent Crimm said – Shatner and Lincoln, we’ll need you on set in a month or so at the most.
