Tom Parker’s wife, Kelsey Parker, paid homage to her “forever” soulmate a year after she died of brain cancer.
“One year without you ❤️ forever my soulmate,” she wrote in an Instagram post on Thursday where the two were smiling at each other.
Kelsey, 33, was greeted with nice words from many of her followers in the comments section of her post.
“I send lots of love to Kelsey on this big milestone day. Your power blows me away! Xxxx,” one supporter wrote.
“A year without him physically, but a year when all his power flows through YOU ❤️ a celebration of both of you xx thinking of you today x,” another added.
A third fan commented, “I hope you manage to remember all the good times and love today ❤️❤️❤️”.
“You are a sensation ❤️ wouldn’t be proud of how you and your babies have handled the past year, sending you so much love and strength❤️❤️,” another wrote.
Kelsey’s heartbreaking praise comes exactly one year after Tom announced on Instagram that he had sadly lost his battle with terminal brain cancer. She was 33 years old.
“We regret to confirm that Tom passed away peacefully with all his family earlier today. Our hearts are broken,” he wrote at the time.

“Tom was the center of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.”
Kelsey, who shares her 3-year-old daughter Aurelia and 2-year-old son Bodhi with The Wanted musician, later thanked her fans for their support and asked them all to “unite to ensure that Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children.”
In October 2020, Tom announced that he had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor known as glioblastoma.
He announced that the tumor was “under control” after undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy the following year.
“We got the results of my last scan… and I’m happy to say it’s STABLE. 😭😭😊😊 Such a mix of emotions,” the “Glad you came” singer wrote on Instagram in November 2021.
“At this point we really couldn’t have asked for more; about a year on this trip. Honestly over the moon. We can sleep a little more comfortably tonight.”
Since Tom’s passing, Kelsey has revealed that her daughters think their father is on tour and doesn’t quite understand the concept of death.
“He still talks about her every day and doesn’t quite understand that he’s not coming back,” she said as a guest on the British talk show “Lorraine” in June 2022.
“I mean, I have to be really outspoken. [and] Say, ‘It’s not coming back, that’s all. He is dead and will not return.’”
