Tekashi 6ix9ine criticized the three men who attacked him at a South Florida gym earlier this month, calling them “nothing but cowardice”.
The rapper spoke on Instagram for the first time on Friday after being brutally beaten and hospitalized.
He wrote the note “I’ve been wandering around without security for 2 years” on the video of the attack. “I’m not saying I support it, but now you see that I’m not really hiding from anything.”
The 26-year-old “Gooba” rapper continued to call men cowards before changing his tune, saying he wasn’t “angry” at the “unfair” situation.
“There are no rules on the street, so I can’t say they’re wrong,” he explained, adding that it “has nothing to do with the business they’re trying to handle.”
He continued, “I’m happy to be still here. And I want to say that I love my fans. Before the rapper ends his post with a private message, thank you.”
“P.S. I never knew we respected jumping people. When did that become a W???”
Police have since arrested Rafael Medina Jr., Octavious Medina, and Anthony Maldonado for ambushing and attacking the rainbow-haired rapper while using the sauna at LA Fitness.
Security footage from that night shows the two men heading to the toilet area after being tipped off by a third insider.

Other clips from the fight show the three men standing over the rapper “Mala”, yelling “shut up” and punching him as he crouched on the bathroom floor.
The rapper then came out of the bathroom with a bloody face and said, “You all jumped on me.”
Shortly after, Tekashi, born Daniel Hernandez, was taken to a nearby hospital to treat cuts and bruises, as well as injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back.
His lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, told TMZ he plans to get a security detail on the convicted criminal.
Tekashi pleaded guilty to racketeering and other charges in 2019. He was originally sentenced to decades in prison, but was released early from prison in 2020 after testifying against his former gang, the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
It’s unclear whether the gym attack was related to his informant.
