One Taylor Swift fan likened the pop star’s hourly, rainy concert in Nashville to Travis Scott’s deadly Astroworld Festival.
A woman named Andrea posted a video on TikTok on Tuesday in which she dramatically detailed Swift’s experience at the Sunday night show, the third and final Nissan Stadium stop of the Eras Tour.
“I love Taylor Swift with all my heart. I’m one of his biggest fans,” he said, preface to the clip, which was watched more than 1 million times.
“But at some points I felt uncomfortable, insecure and scared,” Andrea continued. have to take shelter somewhere more than three hours due to severe weather.
Fans with VIP tickets said they should get “under the stadium seats where the concessions are”.
“It was a little crowded at first, but it was fine. But for three and a half hours out of those four, I stood shoulder to shoulder with nowhere to go. … I’m 5 feet tall, so everyone was towering over me,” she recalled.
“It was so tight inside. I literally thought it would be like another Travis Scott death. I’ve never been so scared in my life. I couldn’t go I couldn’t move I had nowhere to go.”

In November 2021, after the chaos at Scott’s annual music festival in Houston, 10 people died of compression suffocation and a “crowd crush” broke out.
The TikTok user, who closed his comments after facing backlash for over-comparison, claimed that the security at the venue was “aggressive”, and paramedics had a hard time getting through the crowd before Swift, 33, finally took the stage at around 10:30 am.
“Multiple people fall and pass out,” he recalled.
“When it was time for the show, chaos broke out on the floor. My wife almost took drugs [sic] The crowd is under due to fluctuations.
“When it was show time, I was literally in tears and couldn’t enjoy the show. When the lights started to hit, I had to get out of there because I wouldn’t be in another crowd situation.”
Other fans took to the comments section of a separate TikTok video to react.
“There’s no way he could compare this to the Travis Scott concert,” wrote one person, while another added, “As someone who was actually at astroworld 2021, one could literally never imagine what it was like. As soon as I made the comment, I had to stop.
A third person interrupted, “Why is the outdoor venue complaining about the weather as if they didn’t have a ticket to the LMAO?”
Others were more empathetic, including a friend who went to the concert.
“I know people call it dramatic, but I was there on Sunday and it got really bad at some points when they finally let us in,” the user wrote.
