Should the marriage proposal come from the man?

It is still the dream of many women to come to the man they love with a romantic proposal that they can tell their children in the future. However, the increasing role of women in all areas of life seems to have changed the minds of men on this issue. While 86 percent of the men participating in the survey conducted by eCift.com say that “the marriage proposal can come from the woman”, 54 percent of the women think that the marriage proposal should come from the man.
Education level and age range also affect the expectation of marriage proposal. 37 percent of men who support the idea that women can propose marriage are university graduates. Also, those who support this idea are mostly men over the age of 30. Men between the ages of 23-30 are also in the second place among those who support this idea in the survey.
