Still “Where were you in the morning baby?” sings her song.
Despite their PDA-packed reunion at the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Friday, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello “did not get together again,” a source told Page Six.
“Shawn and Camila continue to be friends with great love and history between them, but they’re not dating again,” says an insider.
“They’ve been in touch since their separation, and they’ve both agreed to meet at Coachella since they left.”
Although the source said “one thing led to another as the night progressed,” we were told that the kiss by the “Senorita” collaborators – videotaped by friends going to the festival – was a “one-shot”.
Representatives for Mendes and Cabello did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The ex-couple’s kiss in Indio, California comes more than a year after they ended their romance.
“We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends,” they said in a joint statement in November 2021, adding that “their love for each other as human beings is stronger than ever.”
Mendes and Cabello have been dating since July 2019 and were quarantined together during the COVID-19 pandemic.
