Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt show off their action hero skills Falling Man.
The action-comedy is loosely based on the 1980s CBS series of the same name. As the trailer reveals, this is the story of Hollywood stuntman Colt Seavers (Gosling), who is convinced by his ex-girlfriend Jody Moreno (Blunt) to help him shoot an explosive sci-fi Western.
David Leitch, director behind Atomic Blonde And Deadpool 2he directed the movie.

“Obviously we use CGI in modern cinema, and we use it liberally,” Leitch, 47, said. “But in crafting a love letter to the stuntmen and blue-collar crews who bring these movies to life, we explored the old-fashioned high drop onto airbags, jumping into a car as far as possible, and rolling a car as many times as possible.
Falling ManIts first trailer offers a glimpse into some of these death-defying stunts; Winston Duke as the film-within-a-film’s stunt coordinator, Hannah Waddingham as the smug producer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the smug leading man. He mysteriously disappears, and Stephanie Hsu stars as his beleaguered assistant.
Blunt plays a former camera operator for whom the sci-fi Western production is his big directing opportunity. Leitch explained that Gosling, the ex-lover who was hired to track down the film’s missing star, “wanted to find a real motivation for this character in the love story.”
The director added that Gosling “does action, romance, comedy, but this movie allows him to do it all.”
Among the many stuntmen who doubled for Gosling throughout filming Falling Man There was driving expert Logan Holladay, fighter Justin Eaton, and “core couple” Ben Jenkins, who, according to Leitch, “got hit by cars” and “jumped fences.”
Another stuntman, Troy Brown, performed a 150-foot drop.
“Your friends and colleagues and all these people you love so much are making these big shows, but you know the consequences,” Leitch said. Falling Man Written by Drew Pearce, it claims to have reunited with Leitch following their 2019 collaboration. fast and furious franchise spin-off Hobbs and Shaw.
It will also feature Blake Shelton performing a new rendition of the original TV series’ theme song, performed by the show’s star, Lee Majors.
