Scarlett Johansson has been candid about how she feels about her first ex-husband, Ryan Reynolds, more than a decade after her divorce.
On Tuesday’s “Goop” podcast, host Gwyneth Paltrow asked the “Marriage Story” actress how many times she’s been married, and she replied, “Three times.”
Paltrow, 50, said, “Oh, right because I forgot you were married to Ryan Reynolds. Targets.”
Johansson, who was married to the “Deadpool” actor from 2008 to 2010, stated that they “have not been married for very long.”
When the “Shakespeare in Love” actress said, “We love a good Ryan Reynolds in our house,” Johansson said, “He’s a good guy.”
The 38-year-old “Lucy” star and 46-year-old Reynolds announced their separation in December 2010 after two years of marriage. They finalized their divorce the following July.
While the two rarely speak publicly about their short-lived romance, Johansson briefly touched on the subject in her 2019 Vanity Fair profile.
“So, I was 23 when I first got married,” she said at the time.
“I really had no understanding of marriage. “Maybe I romanticized him in a way,” she continued.
Following their separation, the “Avengers” actor married journalist Romain Dauriac in 2014.
The ex-lovers, who broke up in 2017, continue to co-parent their 8-year-old daughter, Rose.
