J.Crew isn’t raising the price of Meghan Markle’s hiking jacket.
Currently among the retailer’s extensive sales, the updated version of the Duchess of Sussex’s Perfect Lightweight Jacket (from $110, originally $188) is about $80 off.
While Markle paired the original version of the style with a symbolic crystal necklace for a walk last weekend, it’s been a favorite for much longer.
The budget-friendly parka was first spotted during a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, when she paired the waterproof coat with a white button.
Also available in white, blue and black, the new version is similarly designed to defy the elements, with a longer hem for “splash protection” and a long collar hoodie for rainy and windy days.

Jackets aren’t the only J.Crew styles Markle has made a splash with over the years, as Markle also wore discount pieces like the Convertible Leather Clogs ($123, originally $198) she wore in Netflix’s “Harry & Meghan.” documentaries from last year
Also among the company’s sales offers right now? The Perfect Fit Shelf Bra Tank ($25, originally $35) she wore for the “Archetyps” podcast cover and the 9-Inch High Waisted Toothpick Jeans ($100, originally $128) she wore in New Zealand in 2018.
Markle isn’t the only royal addicted to affordable J.Crew pieces, either; Kate Middleton has rocked a few styles that are now out of stock over the years, while Prince Harry has a Ludlow suit in at least four colors.
Meanwhile, Demi Moore is so obsessed with her “favorite” J.Crew Vintage Cotton V-Neck T-Shirt ($20, originally $35) that she once told InStyle that she was buying the item in bulk in case it was discontinued.
With prices falling on many styles, now might be the perfect time to follow Moore’s lead.
