Even celebrities can’t stop thinking about the Roman Empire.
Ryan Reynolds joins the ranks of men answering the viral question: “How often do you think about the Roman Empire?”
The app is now filled with videos of self-recording women asking their male partners, fathers, brothers, and other men in their lives how often they find themselves thinking about empire, and reacting to their answers.
Reynolds, 46, took the trend into her own hands and posted a very casual selfie (one where she appeared to be sweaty and wearing glasses and lying down on a bed) and captioned it, “I’m thinking of the Roman Empire.”
Deadpool The star also used The National’s “Roman Holiday” to soundtrack the selfie, in which she made intense eye contact with the camera.
Although this shot of the actor, who displayed a sarcastic attitude, did not actually answer “how often” he thought about the ancient civilization, it seemed that he was making fun of men who often think about this subject in their daily lives.
The trend started when Swedish Instagram user Arthur Hulu, known online as Gaius Flavius, shared an Instagram Reel on August 19 that said, “Ladies, most of you don’t realize how often men think about the Roman Empire.” Independent And washington post.

“Other than that… I can say that my father thought about the Roman Empire every day,” he added.
bachelorette Star Hannah Brown also joined the trend, asking her fiancé Adam Woolard to answer the viral question. The answer? “Pretty consistent.”
Woolard said the ancient empire was “constantly” on his mind because of martial arts and modern politics.
“I think men are warriors at heart,” he said on TikTok. “You always have to be ready for war, and the Roman Empire is all about war. Common sense!”
During a discussion about the trend of the Roman Empire TodayCarson Daly admitted that he thinks about the ancient civilization “every day” and added that it “sounds like the philosopher and Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius.”
“First of all, the movie Gladiator “It’s in every man’s top five favorite movies,” Daly, 50, said. “Joe Rogan’s podcast is hugely popular, and the trend of having a modern take on ancient philosophies like stoicism, cold immersion, etc. is a big thing right now, keto.”
