Ryan Gosling addresses hypocrisy Barbie fans say they’ve “cared for Ken this whole time”.
In a new cover interview, the 42-year-old actor touched on the irony of people who love to play Ken in Greta Gerwig’s upcoming movie. GQ Published Wednesday.
“Suddenly, it was like, ‘No, we’ve been caring for Ken this whole time. No, you didn’t. You never did. You never cared,” Gosling said jokingly at the exit. Barbie has never had sex with Ken. That’s the point.”
“If you really care about Ken, you know nobody cares about Ken. That’s how your hypocrisy comes out,” he said. “That’s why his story has to be told.”

“It was like I was living my life and then one day I was bleaching my hair and shaving my legs and wearing bespoke neon clothes and skating on Venice Beach,” he joked. “It felt like a slight reddish. Then I woke up one day and said, ‘Why are there fake tanners on my sheets? What just happened?’ ”
