Russell Crowe has a feeling for new things Gladiator film.
Pope’s Exorcist The 59-year-old actor said he doesn’t know much about the long-awaited sequel to director Ridley Scott’s 2000 movie. Gladiator – but admitted that he was “a little jealous” of the project.
“Look, all I really feel about this is a little bit of jealousy, you know? Because I was a much younger man and it was a huge experience in my life,” Crowe told Collider.
“This is something that really changed my life. It changed the way people look at me and what I do for a living and, you know, I’ve been very lucky to be in a lot of big movies, but legs are on it.” Crowe, who won the Best Actor Oscar with the movie that also won the Best Picture, went on.
“You don’t always last that long in every movie you shoot, so it obviously holds a special place in my heart.”

Crowe said he doesn’t know much about the sequel yet: “I really don’t know where they’re going with it. I’m sure it is. [there have] things happened [Scott’s] For the last 24 years he’s probably thought he could do better or something. I think one of the positive aspects is that he’s definitely Ridley. Because he will want to go back to the world and create a show on the same level as the first.”

“It’s an extension of the narrative, but it’s way beyond Maximus’ death, so it doesn’t really concern me. I heard that young Paul was a good man and I wish him good luck,” he added. crowe “I think they’re taking the story from young Lucius and stepping into the role of emperor. It’s a very smart idea in the movie world we’ve created.”
Crowe also said he has “a slight envy” that other stars “have the once-in-a-lifetime experience”.
“I don’t want to dwell on it too much because it obviously takes me back to a time when I was much younger. And, you know, the pink glasses of that experience are now perfectly crystallized.” . “I look back and I loved every minute of it and that wasn’t really the case back then.”
