Ooh na na, what’s her name?
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky named their baby boy RZA Athelston Mayers, according to the Daily Mail.
Their son is apparently named after producer and rapper RZA, who is the leader of the Wu-Tang Clan.
The 35-year-old Fenty Beauty creator gave birth to their son on May 13, 2022, four months after Page Six broke the news of her pregnancy.
Fans didn’t see the baby for several months until Rihanna finally posted a video of her child on Instagram.
In February 2023, the “Umbrella” singer announced that she and the rapper were expecting their second baby during the Super Bowl halftime performance.
That same month, Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, told Page Six that the musicians went by “a few names” for the teenager.
“He’ll take my head if I tell you,” he mocked at the time.
Interestingly, Rihanna “always thought” she would be married before starting her family, the songwriter told Vogue in April 2022.
“I certainly won’t let that stop me from being a mother,” she continued. “Who says it has to be like this?”
The “shut up and drive” singer also gushed about her plans to be “a passenger as well as a driver” during parenthood. “They’ll teach me more than I can teach them. And I want them to go for it. I want to see who they are in the world, who they’ve become.”
While she and the 34-year-old rapper didn’t “plan” to get pregnant or watch her ovulate, they also didn’t “plan” a pregnancy.

“I called him in and showed him,” Rihanna said when breaking the news of the rapper’s first pregnancy. “Then the next morning I was at the doctor’s office and our journey began.”
The musicians were longtime friends before their relationship took a romantic turn in early 2020.
“She was my family back then,” Rihanna told the magazine about her quarantine with her A$AP Mob member during the coronavirus pandemic.
Prior to her relationship with A$AP, Rihanna was in a relationship with Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel for 4 years. She has also dated Travis Scott, Chris Brown, and Drake.
