Rihanna and A$AP Rocky spark marriage rumors after referring to the pregnant singer as “his wife”.
Page Six exclusively reports that the rapper addressed the public to the founder of Fenty Beauty during his Spotify concert Wednesday night at the 2023 Cannes Lions Festival.
“I want to dedicate this song to my beautiful wife in the goddamn kinghouse!” Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, told the crowd.
Showcasing her butt in a see-through black dress, Rihanna then smiled at her from the VIP section.
The “1 Train” artist’s statement caught the attention of fans, who began to speculate as to whether the couple was secretly married.
“So ASAP and Rihanna are married?” a fan tweeted on Thursday in response to our report.
“Wait, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Could Be Married? And Didn’t You Tell Us?” Written by a second person.
A third said, “Rihanna and I feel like I’m getting married privately as soon as possible.”
“Are you married or not????” One Twitter user asked @rihanna, while another commented, “They’re probably already married.”
No public records indicate that the two are married, and representatives of Rocky and Rihanna did not immediately respond to Page Six’s multiple requests for comment.
This isn’t the first time that 34-year-old Rocky and Rihanna, real name Robyn Fenty, have sparked marriage speculation.
In May, the 35-year-old “Rude Boy” singer shared photos from the couple’s Met Gala 2023 appearance. She wore a famous Valentino dress while rocking a Gucci suit jacket and a folded skirt over jeans.
He captioned the post saying, “Hello to bridal party 2….here’s the bride #idoKARL#METgala2023”, convincing fans that the lovebirds have tied the knot.
