Rapper Blueface faces new legal troubles after another arrest in Las Vegas.
Blueface, real name Johnathan Jamall Porter, was arrested by Las Vegas Metro Police in November 2022 and charged with attempted murder and a host of other crimes, but was later released on bail for $50,000 per KLAS-TV.
Blueface was arrested by police on a separate theft charge as he entered the Las Vegas courthouse Wednesday morning for a preliminary hearing on those charges, his lawyers Lisa Rasmussen and Kristina Wildeveld confirmed to the news site.
“We don’t have any information about the new case, but it was said that it involved stealing a woman’s cell phone at the Palms casino,” they told KLAS-TV. “We look forward to defending him in court in both these cases.”
Court records showed the robbery report was filed on Wednesday, but gave no further details about the case. According to a report from the prosecution, Blueface has not yet been formally charged in connection with the arrest. Las Vegas Review Magazine.
Lawyers for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and Blueface did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
The 26-year-old rapper “Thotiana” allegedly shot a man on October 8, 2022, resulting in his arrest for attempted murder, use of deadly weapons and dumping weapons into an occupied structure, vehicle or ship. November 15, according to a police report.
He was also fined for driving an unregistered vehicle, trailer or semi-truck, according to the report.

Footage of the incident obtained by TMZ shows Blueface sitting on a bench in front of a building with Rock. A plainclothes cop approaches him and pushes him against a wall. A few more officers appear and help take Blueface down.
Another clip shows roughly half a dozen plainclothes police surrounding the “Bussdown” rapper, with one handcuffing him. She was on her stomach before the cops turned her around and lifted her to her feet. The two officers briefly searched his pockets before driving him away.
