Tom Holland and Zendaya are returning to the Marvel Universe!
in a conversation with Variationproducer Amy Pascal shared the fourth Spider Man The movie featuring the couple is still in production, but recently stopped development due to the ongoing writer’s strike.
“Are we going to make another movie? Of course,” he explained, “we’re in the process, but the writers are on strike, no one is working during the strike. We’re all supportive, and whenever they’re on the mend.” We’ll start together.”
The final movie in the series came with its release in 2021. Spider-Man: No Homecoming.

In the movie, fans saw Holland, 27, return as Peter Parker and Zendaya, 26, as MJ, returning to a world learning her superhero identity. Wanting to return to the way he was before everyone knew he was Spider-Man, Peter enlists Doctor Strange’s help to change the course of history.
While not much is known about the plot of the fourth movie, the movie will mark the return of the actors to the place where they first started seeing each other.
“They started seeing each other during filming. Spider Man,” a source previously told PEOPLE. “They were very careful to keep it private and out of the public eye, but they went on vacation with each other and tried to spend as much time with each other as possible.”

While they’ve kept their relationship relatively private, they became Instagram official in September 2021 with a behind-the-scenes photo of Zendaya calling “My MJ” as part of Holland’s birthday commemoration.
The couple was last spotted together in an NBA playoff game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors at Chase Center in San Francisco in early May. For the occasion, the couple dressed casually while Holland donned a light gray sweatshirt, while the Emmy Award winner opted for a white baby tee, black Warriors cap and gold-rimmed glasses.
