“I underestimated just how hard pregnancy would be on my mind and my body,” Ireland added, identifying herself as someone who already “deals with extreme health anxiety on a daily basis.”
The eldest child of Alec then shared that pregnancy has been a “struggle,” nothing that she felt like her “brain and thoughts are going to war every single day. Mental warfare.”
Earlier this month, Ireland was fêted with a wild baby shower that had a strip club-themed “baby blowout.”
The mom-to-be wore a lacy black négligée along with a pink wig, sash and a “Mom” ribbon pinned to her chest.
Kim Basinger, Hilary Duff, Sailor Brinkley Cook and Rumer Willis joined the festivities, which included food from Monty’s Good Burger and a rather unusual baby shower cake.
The pink dessert, which featured a “Baby’s First Strip Club” sign, was covered in champagne bottles and displayed a doll hunkered down beside a toilet.
In January, Ireland revealed that she and her partner, whose real name is André Allen Anjos, are expecting a girl and they already have a name picked out.
“We’re naming her Holland. I’m Ireland, so [we chose] another country name because we wanted to keep that consistent,” she previously said on “GirlBoss Radio.”
Ireland’s baby girl will certainly have several options for playmates.
Her dad, Alec, and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, share 7 children together, ranging from ages 9 to 6 months old.
