The “King of Staten Island” can be dethroned after purchasing a dog from a pet store.
Pete Davidson and his girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, purchased a cavapoo from New York City’s Citipups in May, and fans are outraged that he stopped adopting a four-legged friend.
Page Six’s Instagram post promoting the story received a stream of comments insulting “Saturday Night Graduate” and one follower called the action “disgusting”.
A follower wrote, “ACCEPT DON’T SHOPPING bro 🤦🏽♀️”.
“Are you buying a dog? Disgusting,” another commented.
“Buying a dog??? Gross! I didn’t even know these types of pet stores were still legal 😢,” said another.
“Stop supporting that horrible puppy mill!” added another follower.
A representative of Davidson did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Davidson’s decision to adopt another dog comes shortly after his beloved dog, Henry, passed away at just 2 years old.

“My mom, sister and I caught Henry at the start of the pandemic and he saved our lives. Davidson, 29, added that his family remained “broken”.
“We love you, Henry,” she continued. “Thank you for making our lives more full and reminding me what really matters.”
TMZ reports that Davidson fell in love with his new dog after seeing it in a photo before visiting the pet store in person. The pup she took home is a 2 and a half month old male who has not yet been named.
Wonders, 27, went to the store with Davidson, though it’s unclear whether they’ll become co-owners of the dog or just be there for support.
Either way, they’ll have each other — and the cavapoo — to lick their wounds.
