Orlando Bloom fell in love with his fiancee Katy Perry after performing for the royal family at the coronation of King Charles III.
“I am extremely proud of you [sic] Love. You always bring the light 💫🔥❤️,” Bloom, 46, wrote on Monday in a rare Instagram post with photos of Perry’s performance outside Windsor Castle in England.
The 38-year-old “Dark Horse” singer replied, “Our Light ♥️” in the comments section.
Perry also shared a few photos and videos from her extravagant fashion show rocking a shimmering gold dress by Vivienne Westwood.
Referring to her absence on Sunday’s episode of “American Idol,” she wrote on her Instagram post, “My #idol set is a little different today 😮 #CoronationConcert.”
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star then took the opportunity to talk about her longtime partner once again and wrote, “I’m so proud ❤️” in the comments.
Perry and Bloom have been together since 2016 and got engaged in 2019. They gave birth to their daughter, Daisy Dove, now 2 years old, in 2020.
The actor also shares his ex-wife Miranda Kerr, whom he was married to between 2010-2013, and his 12-year-old son, Flynn.
Meanwhile, Perry was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012 but they had no children together.
The engaged couple are notorious for their relationship, but Bloom admitted in February that it could be “challenging.”
Perry attended the coronation celebrations without the “Lord of the Rings” star.
Unable to find a seat at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, she went viral and nearly slipped and fell while walking in stilettos in the rainy weather after the ceremony.
Despite a few snags, the “Roar” singer looked gorgeous in a Vivienne Westwood-designed lilac skirt suit with matching hat and gloves.
Perry’s performance at the coronation concert, where fellow “American Idol” judge Lionel Richie also performed, came amid growing backlash against his singing competition show antics.

The pop star was accused of “shaming her mother” on a contestant on the ABC series, and was also called out for criticizing another rival’s glitter suit.
However, a source told Page Six just last week that Perry was not bothered by the show.
“Katy was not impressed by the reaction,” the source said. “It’s been a bumpy season with a lot of great talent, so he’s just doing his job.”
An insider added that Perry “has a unique sense of humor that may not always be well understood on camera, but never malicious intent.”
“He’s a mentor and a friend to the contenders,” the source told us.
A few fans also defended Perry, with some pointing out that he was far less harsh than former judge Simon Cowell.
Perry and Richie, 73, who have both served as judges on the show since 2018 alongside Luke Bryan, were temporarily replaced by Ed Sheeran and Alanis Morissette while they were across the pond for their coronation.
“American Idol” airs Sundays at 8pm ET on ABC.
