OPI is officially #TeamAriana.
The nail polish brand on Friday mourned the loss of its most popular shades of white after Glamor published an article jokingly saying that Tom Sandoval had “ruined” white nail polish by making it the base manicure color.
The brand’s TikTok posted photos of the nail polish bottles with the captions “RIP Funny Bunny” and “RIP Alpine Snow” on a black background.
“OPI REMOVED. Love it 💅,” while one user commented, another suggested they “rename the shadows after Ariana”.
“I hate to admit that I used Funny Bunny and took it out this morning,” the third said.
Still, they weren’t the only brands to focus on drama.
Nails Inc released a brand new white shade called “For Everyone Except Tom Sandoval Nail Polish” ($9) on Thursday after wannabe rock star Glamor went on a social media tirade over her article.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star shared screenshots of the article along with the harsh messages before uploading it to her Instagram Stories.
“I’m so sorry. Nothing I wear doesn’t look good on 🧌’s,” he wrote. “If you’re going to talk st, at least have the courage to come to me.”
“I thought it was you [sic] mag was about being positive and attractive, not worthless? Bravolebrity added it. “Also, what happens when I wear all the colors at the Michigan PRIDE shows? I’d invite you, but unfortunately all our tickets are sold out.”
But the 40-year-old writer didn’t stop there, continuing to label the article “a disgusting, worthless, hateful and biased article” before questioning the author’s ability as a journalist.
Still, the irony of Sandoval calling someone’s character after cheating on his girlfriend of nearly ten years with his best friend has not been lost on many.
“What I know for sure this season is that the ONLY thing Tom Sandoval sticks to is white nail polish.” Someone tweeted.
For more Bottom Styles…
“It makes a lot of sense that Tom Sandoval was upset that someone called his white nail polish, rather than cheating on his girlfriend of ten years.” wrote another.
“Tom Sandoval, who scolded a female journalist for saying she ruined white nail polish, is all you need to know about her.” the third one called.
Sandoval’s months-long affair with Raquel Leviss came to light in March after then-girlfriend Ariana Madix found an NSFW video of the couple on her phone.
The fallout of the relationship, dubbed Scandoval, was captured for the “VPR” Season 10 finale and then played out during the three-episode reunion.
“The Vanderpump Rules” airs Wednesdays at 9PM ET on Bravo.
