Katy Perry brought a new friend to her Las Vegas residence this weekend.
On Sunday morning, Kim Kardashian shared a collection of clips on her 9-year-old daughter North West’s Instagram Story, who took the stage with Perry, 38, and a few close friends on Saturday night.
“So the reason I know your name is because I’m a big fan of your TikTok,” Perry told West in a video on stage at his PLAY residence. “I’ve seen a few you do. You’re a really good dancer and I thought, is there a better way to be a great dancer? [than] to show the world your great dance moves?”
When Perry asked West to do a few moves for his Vegas crowd, the TikTok star and Kanye West’s daughter had a request: “Can my friends go out with me?”
“He has friends, he doesn’t want to do it alone,” Perry replied, allowing West to follow his three friends on stage. “This is great.”
Then, asking West how old he was, Perry said, “I started singing when I was 9 years old, that’s when I found my little spark.”
In later clips, West and his three friends join Perry’s center stage as she performs the hoop and other dance moves while surrounded by the singer’s dancers. Other photos from the night show West, dressed in a black aviator jacket, interacting with Perry backstage and even posing for a photo with Perry and his 42-year-old mother.

“Honestly, I’m the biggest Katy Perry fan,” Kardashian told the singer backstage. “I’m not saying this because you’re here.”
For fans who want a glimpse of Perry beyond his Resorts World Las Vegas residency, the star has emerged in a new interview. Outside He said he “must go out and see those who can’t go to Vegas.”
“I am very proud of the show we created and put on,” the singer said. “It’s an amazing series that we love so much. It’s almost like the show of greatest hits! I call it total suspense, no padding. I wish I could bring it to the rest of the world, but technically it’s not possible. Get around OTT toilets and tubs.”
He added: “The closing of an episode PLAY It makes me start a new chapter. I’m very excited about the potential for my story to continue.”
