Honorary President of Turkish Andrology Association Prof. Dr. Ateş Kadıoğlu said, “There is a problem of premature ejaculation in one out of every 5 men in Turkey.”
Kadıoğlu said that premature ejaculation, which has become an important problem today, causes anger, rage and disappointment in men.
Stating that the problem has reached important dimensions, Kadıoğlu said, “There is a problem of premature ejaculation in one out of every 5 men in Turkey. There are different categories of this problem. There are also those who think that this problem exists.”
Stating that the rate of 20% in Turkey is 24% in the USA, 20.3% in Germany and 20% in Italy, Kadıoğlu continued as follows:
“According to the results of our research with 2,500 couples across Turkey, this problem is 14 percent among young people and 50 percent over the age of 70. The rate increases as the number of children increases. The rate decreases as the income level increases. This rate is 21 percent for the unemployed, 34 percent for the retired, and 50 percent for the employed. 16 percent. It also changes according to education level. Accordingly, as the education level increases, the rate decreases. According to the regions, the highest rate in Turkey is in the Eastern Anatolia Region with 25 percent. This region is the Black Sea with 24 percent, Marmara with 20 percent, Southeast with 11 percent, Central Anatolia with 18 percent, Mediterranean with 18 percent and Aegean region with 23 percent.”
President of Turkish Andrology Association Prof. Dr. Selahattin Çayan also said that men who have premature ejaculation problems are seen to be stressed most of the day, and that the same psychological situation is seen in one third of the wives of these men.
Çayan stated that 1 out of 10 men accepted the treatment and stated that they established a website called “onemliolansuresi.com” regarding the problem and that the questions that were asked were answered here.
