He keeps Princess Diana close.
Meghan Markle may have skipped the coronation of King Charles III, but she still represents royalty.
The Duchess of Sussex, 41, had some rest time on Sunday as she was spotted on a walk near her home in Montecito, California, without her husband, Prince Harry, or their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
For the outdoor event, she wore a black tank top and fedora, a bandana around her neck, Victoria Beckham sunglasses and leggings with meaningful piles of jewellery.
Most notably, Markle wore the Cartier watch that Diana wore almost daily, and the Bentley & Skinner diamond tennis bracelet, believed to have been a gift to Charles’ late ex-wife.
The bracelet clearly makes sense to the former actress, as she wore it at several major events, including the infamous 2021 Oprah Winfrey interview. Also, two diamonds from the accessory were used to create Markle’s three-stone engagement ring in 2017.
Along with sentimental jewelry, the mom-of-two piled on a Cartier Love bracelet ($7,350) and a Jennifer Meyer tennis bracelet ($3,000)—these trio often pair together.

As for her neck, she wore a Maya Brenner x Abigail Spencer necklace designed by Markle’s former “Suits” co-star. The all-out design, called “The Clarity Retreat Necklace,” according to the brand’s website, was created to help you “get through any challenge” and is made of clear quartz.
“It is meant to help you manifest what you want in life and let go of everything that is not working. An elegant, wearable piece of crystal to keep your peace…so it can be your retreat every day,” reads the description.
According to royal biographer Omid Scobie, the necklace carries a ton of symbolism for Markle, who is said to have not attended the coronation weekend events to “keep her peace”.
Harry, 38, appeared very briefly in third at Westminster Abbey as his father was formally crowned king on Saturday, while Markle left the United States to celebrate Archie’s 4th birthday after lengthy debates over whether the couple would go to the UK. He stayed at home. .
Harry left soon after the ceremony and returned to his family as he was not invited to many events over the weekend.
