Madonna Recovering in Hospital After Being Found Unresponsive

Madonna was hospitalized in New York City on Saturday night after being found unresponsive. Page Six Reported Wednesday.

The 64-year-old singer was intubated for at least one night. He was awake and the tube was reportedly removed on Wednesday. Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, confirmed her health scare on Wednesday, saying on Instagram that Madonna “developed a serious bacterial infection that caused her to spend several days in the ICU.”

“His health is improving, but he is still under medical care,” Oseary said in a statement. “A full recovery is expected”

Oseary added that Madonna will have to “pause all her commitments”, including the “Celebration” tour. He added that the tour will be postponed.
