CANNES – Clock “bitch”.
Lizzo blew up the roof of the Hotel Du Cap-Eden-Roc when she performed at iHeartMedia and MediaLink’s special executive dinner in Antibes, France, on Tuesday night.
The 35-year-old musician gave a one-hour performance featuring his hit songs “Truth Hurts”, “Juice” and “About Damn Time”.
Comedian Tiffany Haddish, who twerked with the lead actress, briefly joined him on stage.
“Everyone on the Lizzo show is a total bitch,” the body-positive singer told the crowd.
Shortly after the twerk-off, the singer started the song “Good as Hell”, in which he invited actor and comedian Kevin Hart to perform a duet with him from the front row.
“You look special too. You look beautiful tonight,” said the 43-year-old “Ride Along” actor, who is in France for the Cannes Lions.
Lizzo also pulled MediaLink CEO Michael Kassan onto the stage towards the end of the performance and made a move with him and then kicked his leg into the air as if he were one of the Rockettes.
“Sorry if you saw my crush,” he mocked after the potentially NSFW move. “I’m sorry it’s inappropriate.”
Lizzo closed her performance with one of her epic flute solos.
Earlier in the day, Hart gave a speech in which he vaguely referred to the sex tape blackmail scandal that nearly ended his marriage to Eniko Parrish.
“There was a time when I focused on marriage and household. “There was a time when I focused on the idea of error and it happened and it was good with recovery,” he said in a conversation with Suzanne Vranica of the Wall Street Journal. “Why? Because he’s human.”
The week-long festival also features Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin, Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel, and much more.
