Despite rumors of plastic surgery, Lionel Richie owes his seemingly ageless appearance to sleep, sweat and sex.
The 73-year-old singer shared some of her best anti-aging techniques with the Daily Mail over the weekend, saying, “this can’t go wrong!”
“[Plastic surgery] locks you up for that year [while you recover] and after that you can’t naturally go, you stay there… you try to go back to reset it and you can’t,” he said.
Instead, Richie focuses on “water, sleep, and sweat” and doesn’t eat “a lot of red meat.”
“I know it’s really boring. [Sex] The iconic singer, who has been with 33-year-old model Lisa Parigi for over a decade, will also work and be good for your heart.”
The statement was made by social media users on Saturday after King III. It came after Charles focused more on his looks than his performance at the coronation.
“Lionel Richie’s face looks more fake than the clay fan that the blind woman carved in the ‘Hello’ video!” Written by a user.

“Lionel Richie really messed up his face…. Why are these people doing this to themselves? They never look younger, they just look weird,” added another.
“What was the plastic surgeon doing?” A third person tweeted alongside a photo of Richie on stage. “Training or trying new things? I hope Lionel Richie didn’t pay for this new face.
However, Richie, who befriended the king after some work with the Prince’s Trust, even revealed that he and Charles, 74, had an ongoing joke about his youthful appearance.
“’How do you look and do I look the way I look?’ says. and I say, ‘Come to Hollywood, I can help you.
Despite the backlash from some viewers, the royal family seemed to like Richie’s performance, especially Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The two young royals were seen dancing and waving British flags while waving for “All Night Long” with their parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William.
In addition to Richie, the cast also included Katy Perry, Nicole Scherzinger, Andrea Bocelli and Take That.
Shortly after the cast took the stage, Charles and Queen Camilla made a surprise cameo on “American Idol” with two judges.
The game show opened with a video talking about Richie and Perry’s “amazing” coronation concert, before stepping aside with Charles and Camilla joining them at Windsor Castle.
“I just wanted to check how long you would use this room,” the king asked jokingly.
The new monarch praised Perry and Richie’s “brilliant” and “great” performances.
