A huge boulder suitable for giant yachts.
Lauren Sánchez showed off Jeff Bezos’ stunning engagement ring while relaxing on Amazon Founder’s $500 million yacht over the weekend.
Bezos, 59, was comfortable in a black shirt and jeans, while Sánchez showed off his enviable abs in a cropped white tank top and a low, beige skirt.
However, the main focus of her casual outfit was the diamond sparkler on it. HE finger.
Ajay Anand of Rare Karat estimates that the “absolute beast” ring is 20 carats and cost roughly $2.5 million, assuming Jeff Bezos would pay for a top quality stone.
The stone appears to be a slight upgrade from the 7-to-10-carat yellow, heart-shaped diamond that Bezos gifted to Sánchez in 2019.
Over the weekend, the newly engaged couple was smiling while on the luxury boat they were staying in the South of France for the Cannes Film Festival.
The duo appeared at the film festival for the premiere of “Killers of the Flower Moon” on Saturday – though it looks like Sánchez has decided to put aside his new luxury for the big event.
Despite keeping their engagement low, the duo take a star-studded party tour to celebrate.
On Monday, Page Six revealed that Bezos specifically posed the question after five years of dating.
While it’s unclear exactly when the billionaire got down on his knees, the couple has been spending a lot of time at sea since Bezos’ boat was completed in March.
The CEO named the ship, which features a statue similar to his current fiancee, “The Preserve”, which symbolizes new beginnings.
The statue shows a woman wearing a necklace with the Māori symbol Koru, meaning loop or coil, on the prow of the superyacht.
Despite already spending half a billion dollars, “The Preserve” will cost Bezos about $25 million a year.
