Larsa Pippen is speaking out on her vacation style.
The “Real Housewives of Miami” star, 48, defended the box braids she wore during a cast trip in part 3 of the season’s reunion show yesterday.
“Watching the tease for the season, I noticed you were sporting braids in the Bahamas,” host Andy Cohen said, reading a question from a fan. “Fashion-wise, you can pull it off. But do you think it’s really culturally appropriate? I think you’re going to get a lot of backlash.”
Pippen — whose parents are Lebanese and Syrian — doubled down on her look, saying, “I mean, I’m not white. So I don’t know — my mom used to wear braids.”
The TV personality, who is an OG cast member of the Miami spinoff of the franchise, went on to tell Cohen that she’s been rocking the look since she was a child and that she’s “always worn braids” on getaways.
“My grandparents are Moroccan,” she said. “My mom had braids when she was a kid. I’ve been braiding my hair every time I’ve gone on vacation since I can remember. My honeymoon pictures, my hair was braided. When I was 18 years old, my hair was braided.”
Pippen said her kids, whom she shares with ex-husband and famed NBA player Scottie Pippen, also sport the same hairstyle.
“I have a braider who comes and braids my kids’ hair every 10 days,” she shared. “My son’s had braids literally for the last four years.”
The reality star went on to explain she has the stylist put her hair into box braids as well, adding, “I’m going on a trip, I don’t want to have to deal with my hair.”
When Cohen asked Kiki Barth for her thoughts on the style, she defended Pippen, saying, “I feel like anybody should rock whatever they want to. As long as it looks good on you, I think we should just embrace it.”
Her braid conversation follows the heated exchange the Bravolebrity had with Cohen while taping an earlier part of the reunion.

When Pippen made remarks to co-star Nicole Martin about how the anesthesiologist’s “son was born out of wedlock,” the Bravo host jumped in to let her know “that was an a–hole thing to say.”
Along with her hair, the OnlyFans model discussed her relationship with Marcus Jordan, 32, who is the son of NBA great Michael Jordan and ironically, played on the Chicago Bulls with her ex-husband.
“I was with Scottie the very last year that he played with Michael,” she said. “Michael and his wife were going through a divorce, so I never met his wife, never met his kids. It wasn’t like we had families that were intertwined. I never knew them.”
