Lady Gaga was spotted filming her role as Harley Quinn in the upcoming sequel “Joker: Folie à Deux” in New York City on Saturday.
In the scene, the award-winning entertainer whose real name is Stefani Germanotta was filmed on the steps of the New York State Supreme Court in downtown Manhattan.
In the midst of a crowd of people, he was surrounded by police units. Many were seen carrying banners such as “The Free Joker”.
Gaga, 36, wore a bright red blazer and a top with the familiar black and white diamonds that were the hallmark of Quinn’s usual costume.
The wardrobe also included a black leather miniskirt and black stockings decorated with lozenges.
The sequel to the critically acclaimed “The Joker” is directed by Todd Phillips, who also wrote the screenplay with Scott Silver.
Quinn is a character originally created as a comic relief for the evil Joker.
His origin story is that he was a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum in Gotham City and Dr. It’s what she goes by the name of Harleen Quinzel.

In the comics, she develops a relationship with one of her patients, the Joker, who eventually becomes his accomplice and lover.
Gaga isn’t the first actress to play the diminutive villain.
Margot Robbie played Quinn in the 2020 movie “Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey.”
Joaquin Phoenix reprises his roles as Arthur Fleck and The Joker in the sequel to Gaga, with Zazie Beetz, who will again play Sophie Dumond.
Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener starred in undisclosed roles.
Gaga, who last performed at the 2023 Oscar ceremony, first appeared on the screen with the 2013 production “Machete Kills”.
She then earned rave reviews and an Academy Award nomination for her role in the 2018 film “A Star Is Born”, followed by a role in “House of Gucci.”
The “Shallow” singer was also acclaimed for her roles in the “American Horror Story” series “Hotel” and “Roanoke”.
“Joker: Folie à Deux.” It will be released in October 2024.
