After much anticipation, the palace confirmed last week that Prince Harry would be in attendance at his father’s coronation.
“Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on May 6th,” the palace detailed in a statement last week.
“The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet,” they added.
Archie, who will turn 4 the same weekend of his grandfather’s coronation, is said to be celebrating his birthday with his mother and sister, per People magazine, instead of attending the multi-day celebration.

With only weeks remaining before the celebratory weekend, invitations are still being finalized. The royal family posted a series of invitations being personalized to their Instagram.
“The 2,000 invited guests to the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey will each receive a personalized invitation that has been beautifully hand-finished by a small team of calligraphers. Among the guests at the Coronation will be over 450 British Empire Medal recipients, who have been invited in recognition of the contributions made by remarkable volunteers, charity representatives and community champions,” the caption read.
