Kim Zolciak-Biermann may be channeling her emotions through song.
On Thursday’s Instagram Story, Real Housewives of Atlanta The star shared a video featuring Luke Combs’ “Love You Anyway” song, which is undeniably heartbreaking. In the clip, Zolciak-Biermann accompanied the lyrics:
“If your kiss turned me to stone, I’d be a standing statue in ancient Rome. If your touch shattered me like glass, I’d shatter as I tried to end the break. A look that would turn my days into night. At least I’d have the stars, the sparkle in your eyes. There are some things that are, It doesn’t leave a man with a choice, like a compass needle needs true north.”
Several of Zolciak-Biermann’s children were also singing in the backseat. She shares her 9-year-old twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, and their 10-year-old son Kash Kade and 11-year-old Kroy Jagger with her estranged husband Kroy Biermann. The retired athlete also legally adopted Zolciak-Biermann’s eldest daughters, Ariana Biermann and Brielle Biermann, in 2013.
In the same month of the singing session, both Zolciak-Biermann, 45, and Biermann, 37, filed parallel petitions for divorce. Zolciak-Biermann’s petition stated that the 12-year marriage was “irreversibly broken with no hope of reconciliation.”
Since filing for divorce in early May, both Zolciak-Biermann and 37-year-old Biermann have filed additional claims in court.
After Zolciak-Biermann claimed to have witnessed her husband smoking marijuana, she asked her husband to take a drug test. However, Biermann countered by demanding that she undergo a psychological evaluation because her ex-boyfriend allegedly exhibited “disturbing behavior” and had a gambling problem.
A source confirmed to PEOPLE that the exes are still living in the same house with their four children as they go through the divorce process.
“It’s easier for the kids for now,” the source said. “But at the same time, neither of them want to move, and frankly, things will get complicated.”
