According to his friend Kevin Hart, Jamie Foxx is “recovering” in the third week of his hospitalization.
The comedian told listeners of the “Impaulsive” podcast on Wednesday that the “Beat Shazam” host has made “a lot of progress” in his health.
Hart, 43, noted that he did not have “definitive details” about Foxx’s condition, 55, since his medical emergency.
“Since Jamie has always been a private person to a certain degree… they’re being tight-lipped about where he is,” the “Central Intelligence” star explained.
“Everyone’s prayers, everyone’s love, everyone’s energy – all this is seen and felt,” Hart continued.
“In that case, man, you just want the man to get out of his situation and come home.”
Later that day, Foxx broke his silence on Instagram.
“Appreciate all the love!!!” He wrote with praying, heart and fox emojis. “Feeling grateful.”

The social media upload was the first from the Foxx family since Jamie’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, told her followers on April 11 that she “had a medical complication”.
The 29-year-old added that the then-Oscar-winning actor “is already on the road to recovery … thanks to quick action and great care.”
Corinne also took to Instagram on Wednesday, praising Nick Cannon and Kelly Osbourne, who replaced her and Jamie on Fox’s musical game show “Beat Shazam.”
“Thank you very much!” gushed. “We are so excited for the sixth season!”
Jamie reposted the Story on his own account, “Appreciate it son @nickcannon. See you soon.
Cannon, 42, hinted that he would take over in an “Entertainment Tonight” interview last month.
“I’m actually about to do something special for him and do him a favour,” the “Masked Singer” host told the outlet, adding that Jamie is “much better off.”
Martin Lawrence also gave an update on the “Ray” star’s health, telling “Extra” that Jamie was “feeling better.”
Since Jamie was hospitalized, his and Cameron Diaz’s upcoming movie “Back in Action” has continued to be filmed without him.
