According to restaurant operator Keith McNally, Adele’s makeup looked “horribly overdone” in James Corden’s latest movie, “Carpool Karaoke.”
Balthazar’s owner took to Instagram to once again criticize the “Late Late Show” host for her “untrue” performance – but dragged the “Hello” singer’s appearance in the process.
“I’ve always loved James Corden’s car-share karaoke, although I find it a little creepy,” McNally began.
“Last week was Corden’s last car-share, and it was the most embarrassing. Her guest was her ‘wonderful’ friend Adele, whose makeup was so overdone and her nails were that long, and she looked like a particularly ghastly Cruella de Vil.”
McNally praised both the Grammy Award-winning singer, 34, and Corden, 44, for being “excellent performers”, but criticized them for being “extremely unrealistic”.
“No more than they’re ‘honest’ about themselves—as untrue people tend to do WHOLE F-KING TIME,” he continued. “…it was nauseating.”

McNally also called Adele in tears during the episode, calling it “full, goddamn SCHLOCK”.
“Of course James Corden – the King of Insincerity – complied with it,” he wrote. “It was the biggest stack of HORSE S–T I’ve seen in 40 years.”
While McNally’s anger towards Adele is recent, her criticism of Corden has been publicly documented since the “Cats” actor mistreated McNally’s restaurant staff.
“James Corden is a very talented comedian, but a tiny bit of an idiot,” McNally wrote last October. “And since the restaurant opened 25 years ago, Balthazar is the most abusive customer to my servers.”
Corden responded by saying it was “below him” to care about the drama, but eventually “apologised profusely” to McNally and his crew after the tremendous backlash.
