Dogstar is still awesome!
On Saturday, Keanu Reeves performed with the newly reunited alternative rock band at the BottleRock festival in Napa Valley for the first time in 20 years.
The group, which also includes Robert Mailhouse and Bret Domrose, sang songs from the 1996s. Our Little Visionary and the 2000s Happy ending. They also played tracks from their upcoming albums “Glimmer” and “Flowers”.

Dogstar was formed in the mid-90s with Reeves as bassist and backing vocalist, Mailhouse as drummer and percussionist, and Domrose as guitarist and vocalist. Gregg Miller also played guitar and sang with the band until they broke up in 1995.

Dogstar’s Instagram account has been active since July 2022 and documents the recording process for a new album. A caption published in December read, “I can’t wait to perform for everyone when the record comes out in Spring 2023,” alongside a photo of the band at a private concert.
