Keanu Reeves recalls his last “happiness” as the time he spent “laughing and giggling” in bed with his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant.
Speaking to People magazine in an interview published Tuesday, the actor detailed the last time he felt genuine joy.
“A few days ago with my honey,” the “John Wick: Chapter 4” actor said. “We were in bed. We were connected. We were laughing and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was really nice to be together.”
Reeves, 58, first sparked love rumors with Grant, 49, when they attended a Saint Laurent fashion show in June 2019.
Later that year, they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the LACMA Art + Movie Gala in Los Angeles.
His visual artist girlfriend at the time was mistaken for Helen Mirren, who is 27 years older than him.
“I wasn’t wearing my glasses at first and rightly thought he was dating Helen Mirren which is what I’d be here for.” a fan tweeted after photos of the couple surfaced.
A second person “Keanu Reeves is dating a woman my age who looks like Helen Mirren and I’ve never been more impressed with her.”
“Has anyone else thought [sic] When they see the image of Keanu Reeves with his new partner looking like Helen Mirren at first? xD” a third person tweeted.

Regardless, I’m very happy for Keanu and I hope he and Alexandra have a very loving relationship as they’ve known each other for a long time,” they added.
Although their relationship has just begun, Reeves and Grant have been in each other’s lives since at least 2011 when they collaborated on “Ode to Happiness.”
They also worked together on 2016’s “Shadows” and formed the publishing company X Artists’ Books the following year.
Since then, the notorious private couple has remained relatively off-the-radar and only rarely appeared.
They were seen packing at PDA in Berlin in October 2020 and last held hands at the 2022 MOCA Gala in Los Angeles last June.
This is Reeves’ first public relationship since split from late actress Jennifer Syme.
The couple reportedly dated during the ’90s but broke up over the sadness of having a stillborn child.
They remained friends until he tragically died in a car accident in 2001.
