Katy Perry meets King Henry III in London on Saturday. She teased as she was leaving Westminster Abbey after the coronation of Charles and Queen Camilla.
The 38-year-old pop star looked startled in photos of the historic event as she tried to regain her balance.
Wearing a matching hat and gloves with a mauve-coloured suit by Vivienne Westwood, Perry nearly fell off after slipping her white stiletto heels across the wet concrete.
But the “California Gurls” singer avoided a disaster, as she successfully managed to get out of the Anglican church without falling to the ground.
But at Westminster Abbey, Perry didn’t have the same luck.
The “Dark Horse” singer went viral for looking confused at the start of her coronation as she tried to find her seat.
After the incident, a fan tweeted, “I’m calling my friends at the club after coming from the smoking place.”
“Ladies and gentlemen…a new meme was born 😂” added another.

A third royal watcher joked, “I’m going down the aisle from the aisle after I got lost in the grocery store as a kid 😭”.
A fourth person tweeted, “When you come to the movie screening, you try to find the J14 seat.”
Perry, who is currently taking a temporary leave from his job as a judge on “American Idol,” was invited to perform at Charles’ coronation concert on Sunday.
“I’m excited to perform at the coronation and to help shed more light on the British Asian Trust’s Children’s Protection Fund, whose work includes initiatives on the ground to raise funds to address child trafficking.” I Kissed a Girl,” the singer said in a statement last month.
According to a British diplomatPerry first met Charles at an event in 2019. The following year, the King appointed him ambassador to the British Asian Trust, which is fighting poverty in South Asia.
