Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, Nicole Scherzinger, and more are at King’s III Sunday night.
The concert, which took place on the East Lawn on the grounds of the castle in Windsor Castle, featured a wide variety of performances, from ballet and opera to classical music and pop tunes.
Chic in a gold ball gown by Vivienne Westwood, Perry gave a powerful interpretation of “Roar” and “Firework”, while Scherzinger sang her own version of Christina Aguilera’s “Reflection” from Disney’s movie “Mulan”.
Meanwhile, Richie sat at a black grand piano to sing The Commodores classic “Easy” to a cheering crowd, followed by his own hit “All Night Long (All Night)”.
King George III, who was officially crowned as the new monarch of the United Kingdom at Westminster Abbey on Saturday. Charles was seen waving to concertgoers during the royal soiree.
He was sitting next to his wife, Queen Camilla, watching the performances alongside the cheerful and energetic crowd. The couple was sitting next to Prince William, son of Charles’ heir to the throne, joined by his wife, Kate Middleton.
At one point in the evening, the Prince of Wales took to the stage to praise his father and also his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. He gave a special note to Elizabeth.
“I want to say a few words about my father and why I believe this weekend is so important. But don’t worry, unlike Lionel, I won’t be going all night,” he joked.
“As my grandmother used to say when she was coronated, ‘Cranias are a declaration of our hopes for the future.’ And I know it’s there, lovingly watching over us. She would be a proud mother.”
Also seen in the crowd on Sunday night were Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince George, 9, sitting between her parents. Their youngest brother, 5-year-old Louis, chose to stay home for this event after hours of coronation the day before.

Lionel’s daughter Sofia Richie was also seen in the audience to support her father. “We’re going to see @lionelrichie🤴🏽,” she wrote under a photo of herself wearing pink pants with a black pump, on Instagram before show time.
Other artists have included Take That, Andrea Bocelli, Sir Bryn Terfel, Alexis French and Olly Murs.
The line-up was announced earlier this month, and the BBC said in a statement at the time, “The concert, with themes of love, respect and optimism, brings together the four nations, their communities and the Commonwealth.
The event started shortly after Prince William and Kate Middleton took to social media with a very relevant message following their coronation in London.
“What. A. Day.” couple a short film with subtitles via Twitter, which gives royal followers a behind-the-scenes look at their day celebrating the new King. “Thank you to everyone who made #Coronation happen.”
The social media video, set to classical music, featured multiple clips with their youngest (and obviously very tired) son Louis, who went viral again with his hilarious facial expressions.
