No more neutrals for this princess.
While visiting a children’s center today, Kate Middleton opted for an unusually bold print with royalty wearing a bright leopard print shirt dress for her trip to Nuneaton, England.
The 41-year-old Princess of Wales, while continuing her early childhood development mission at Riversley Park Children’s Centre, strayed away from her usual plain outfits and donned a new green silk midi dress from Cefinn ($493).
She paired the dress with white Jimmy Choo heels, a white Mulberry bag, and a new pair of earrings from one of her favorite jewelry brands, Kiki McDonough, opting for a green amethyst version ($881) of the citrine drops ($881) she already had.
While several reviewers on the Royal Fashion Police Instagram account described her dress as “cute” and “gorgeous”, fashion fans seemed to object to her 1980s-style white pumps.
“It looks very nice and fresh, especially in this warm weather,” wrote one Instagram user. “But I am not a fan of white shoes.”
Another commented, “Team ‘I really can’t stand white court shoes,'” added a third commenter, “I really don’t like those white high heels she wears regularly. It’s like 80’s hype.
Polarized shoes aside, the princess, who wore loose waves for today’s visit, had a funny moment in the middle of a conversation when a baby burps loudly.
At that moment, on the Daily Mail Royals TikTok account, a group of parents laughed out loud and Middleton shouted, “Well done, you!”
The mother of three spoke to staff who participated in a study funded by the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood that examines infant distress, and also greeted local schoolchildren who had gathered outside the centre.

The Princess of Wales wasn’t the only member of the royal family to get into green shirt dress action this week.
Queen Camilla also wore a colorful printed frock coat with a white polka dot Samantha Sung belted gown ($859) yesterday as she attended a bee-themed garden party and a naming ceremony for a new Household Calvary Drum Horse.
Maybe this stylish royal can coordinate for an event this summer.
