As the actor awaits the next court date in the assault case, Jonathan Majors breaks up with his new girlfriend, Meagan Good.
On Saturday, Majors, 33, and Good, 41, were photographed traveling from New York City to Los Angeles. The couple was seen holding hands for over a week after PEOPLE confirmed on May 13 that the couple is currently seeing each other.
Last Monday, a source told PEOPLE that their friendship took a romantic turn as Majors and Good showed support for him since his March 25 arrest in New York. Majors most recently starred in faith III And Ant-Man and the Wasp: QuantumaniaHe was charged with multiple misdemeanors of assault and harassment by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in connection with the alleged incident.
“Meagan and Jonathan have maintained a friendship for a while,” the source previously told PEOPLE, adding that “Meagan has shown considerable support for him” following the allegations against Majors.
At the time, the source added, “Their relationship seems to have improved even more from that point on.” Reps for Good and Majors did not respond to PEOPLE’s requests for comment last Monday.
Majors last actually appeared for a brief hearing in Manhattan Criminal Court in New York City on May 9, where he spoke during the hearing to confirm that he had agreed to be present at the trial not only in person but virtually.
Following that hearing, the player’s lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, in a statement received by PEOPLE, described the case against her client as “a witch hunt against Jonathan Majors, conducted on false pretenses.”
The alleged victim in the actor’s case has not been identified by the authorities, and it is unclear whether he has his own legal representative. The 30-year-old woman was granted full temporary protection last month.

The next court date for the Majors is June 13; the player must appear in court in person at that time.
