It looks like Hollywood Vampires will have to stay in their coffins – at least for a short time, at least. Johnny Depp and his band have delayed their early US tour dates after Depp injured his ankle.
In a statement posted on Instagram, the group said they would not be stealing their show in Manchester, New Hampshire on Tuesday, and would also delay several other shows until July due to Depp’s “painful injury”.
TMZ reported that Depp had “fine-tuned” his ankle at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this month and “further accentuated” during his recent musical performances, leading to a fracture and a doctor’s order not to fly.
A source told TMZ: “The ankle was already bothering him in Cannes and it got worse, but Jeanne du Barry and for Jeff [Beck, whom Depp and his group have honored with recent tribute shows]”

The next morning, however, Depp showed up late for his own press conference with director Maïwenn and got defensive when asked about his past comment on his feeling of being boycotted by Hollywood.
