If you’re Rudy Giuliani, accidental leaks happen—sometimes straight out of your head, sometimes right out of your ass. This week saw another damn leak that landed Rudy straight on the hot seat. On Thursday, a judge in the Dominion Voting Systems defamation case sanctioned Fox News for retaining audiotapes during discovery.
“The judge ruled yesterday that Fox was guilty of what they called ‘discovery abuse,’ because he accidentally forgot to provide the audio recordings,” Kimmel said. He created about the theft/fraud/witch hunt of the 2020 presidential election.
“[On] In one of the tapes, the Trump campaign official says there are no physical problems with the Dominion voting machines,” Kimmel says.
Clearly, the judge is not happy that this evidence has only now come to light. But Kimmel has a theory about how this mess started in the first place: Trump’s lawyers just couldn’t figure it out. Which humiliated Giuliani’s performance, which they should have sent to the authorities.
“It could have been where oil was leaking from his head,” Kimmel suggested. Or the scene where he farts in court. It could be the place where Borat unbuttons his pants for his daughter, or the place where he holds a press conference in front of a dildo shop.” Any of these could justify anything Rudy had to say in the eyes of the court. He lost his court.)
