Jimmie Allen’s estranged wife, Alexis Gale, posted a cryptic message about “silence” just three days after announcing her separation from the country star.
“Silence is loud enough for me,” 27-year-old Gale wrote above a black screen in her Instagram Story on Monday, according to Us Weekly.
However, Allen has been quite active on social media with his new single “be good!”
The message came just after the former couple announced on social media last week that they were going their separate ways and expecting their third child.
“After much thought and consideration over the last months, Jimmie and I have decided to separate,” the mother-of-two wrote. “As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together this year.”
“Our number one priority is and always will be to ensure that our children are healthy, happy and loved, and we are committed to co-parenting one another with love and respect,” he continued. “In light of our growing family, we demand privacy during this time.”
37-year-old Jimmie shared almost the same message on Instagram.
The couple, who got married in 2020, have daughters Naomi (3) and Zara (1). The singer also has an 8-year-old son named Aadyn from a previous relationship.

The soon-to-be ex-boyfriends got together in 2019 after being introduced through family members. They secretly tied the knot a year later during the COVID-19 pandemic. The couple was finally able to celebrate with friends and family in a larger ceremony in May 2021.
The “Freedom Was a Highway” singer had previously admitted that she “never wanted to get married” until she met Gale.
“I wanted to be a dad and make music, that’s all,” he told People in August 2021. “The husband thing wasn’t something I wanted to do. But Alexis changed that. Now, I like it. It gives me some security.”
He also previously claimed that the couple had no intention of expanding their brood, telling Entertainment Tonight that he and Gale were already “outnumbered” by his children.
“Oh, I’m done,” she said, as she had another child at the time.
