Jeremy Renner’s mom is ready to start a big fire.
The “Hurt Locker” star shared in a speech at the Disney+ premiere of her new show “Rennervations” on Tuesday that the head of her family wanted to set the snowplow on fire after it had run over it – but she won’t let it.
“It’s a snowcat and it’s a must in the field because there’s so much snow there,” Renner said of his need for plows at his home in Reno, Nevada.
“My mom wants to set it on fire and a big old party wants to set it on fire but it’s amazing and I love it. It’s a necessity.”
Renner explained that in “giant” blizzards he cannot enter his house without a plow.
“I just have to learn to drive better,” he said.
The “Hawkeye” star, who received a standing ovation as she jogged around the Westwood Regency Village Theater stage with the help of a scooter, said that having the premiere on the calendar helped her refocus on her walking goal.
“Getting better at making sure all our hard work isn’t wasted has been a huge milestone for me…there’s no alternative,” he said at the panel hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

“So it was easy for me, I had somewhere to go, I had a place to point and I had a lot of love, man,” he continued, applauding once more, “and I don’t know why, I feel like I’m not doing it. I don’t deserve it.
“I feel like a half-asshole,” he added, but it’s unclear whether he’s referring to the abuse allegations made against him by his ex-wife, which he denies.
Renner, 52, credits his family and daughter Ava for giving him “love and support” to help him recover.
“A lot of people, most of them here, were part of saving my life and staying alive. A lot of people are here to support the living part of this and the show,” he shared.
“It takes a lot of people, it took a lot of people. It starts with my family, my daughter, and a big part of my recovery was show.
After the screening and panel discussion, guests attended an afterparty with a live band and snacked on sliders, tacos, and samosas.
Among the attendees was Josh Peck and “Scrubs” star Sarah Chalke, who brought her children.
The “Avengers” actor broke more than 30 bones and was taken to intensive care after he ran over the snowplow, leaving a bloody mess at the site of the accident.
Despite the trauma, Renner said he would do it all “again” if it meant saving his nearly victimized niece once again.
