He seemed to want this girl gone.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were caught having a cold exchange before going into love mode for the cameras.
The couple was walking the red carpet Wednesday night at the Los Angeles premiere of J.Lo’s new movie “The Mother” and it was seen that they both were apparently in love as they both looked so serious.
When they first arrived, Lopez, 53, was spotted having a very intense conversation with Affleck, 53, who seemed uncomfortable and stressed.
At one point, the “Argo” actor frowned and even raised his index finger towards his wife, apparently indicating that the couple was arguing.
But as soon as they stepped onto the carpet, Lopez and Affleck slid the carpet into their lovebird gear and kissed for photography enthusiasts to capture.
From there, everything seemed fine for the couple, as they kept giggling and showing off the PDA, and they were especially cute when Affleck fondly watched Lopez reapply her lip gloss.
For the trip, the “On The Floor” singer wore a sparkly cream duster over a matching skirt and bra set. She looked glamorous with her hair pulled back and accessorized with large gold hoop earrings and a pearl clutch.
His “Good Will Hunting” screed looked a little disheveled, rocking a messy beard and messy hair, and he wasn’t wearing a black suit and tie.
This isn’t the first time they’ve been caught while appearing solid against each other. The couple took to the internet after Lopez got together at the 2023 Grammys in February and ordered a miserable-looking Affleck to look happier.
A lip reader claimed that at the time, the singer told Affleck to “look more friendly, look motivated,” to which she allegedly replied, “I can,” according to the translator.
But sources assured Page Six that Affleck was in a great mood backstage that night.
“Ben was very happy and not bored,” said one spy. “He was seen laughing backstage and the camera caught him badly.”
Another source said, “She gave Fat Joe a big sibling hug. She was very happy to see him. He was in a really good mood.”
Affleck addressed the awkward moment caught on camera, telling The Hollywood Reporter in March, “I had a good time at the Grammys.”
added: “I saw [Grammy host Trevor Noah approach] and I said, ‘Oh my god. They were trapping us in this shot, but I didn’t know they were rolling. I leaned towards him and said, ‘As soon as it starts to roll, I’ll walk away from you and leave you with Trevor.
“He says, ‘You better not go. It’s a husband and wife thing. I mean, some people are like, ‘Well, who is this number?’ For example, I can’t keep up. My wife obviously does. And yes, your wife’s business activity.”
They dated in the early 2000s and got engaged for the first time in 2002. However, they postponed their wedding due to the pressure of the spotlight and they finally broke up in 2004.

Affleck and Lopez married and had children with Jennifer Garner and Marc Anthony, respectively, but both ended their marriages and after seeing other people, the exes rekindled their romance in 2021.
They got engaged for the second time in April 2022, and this one got stuck, first at a Las Vegas wedding in July, and last August when they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in front of friends and family on Affleck’s 87-acre Georgia estate.
Since Lopez shares 15-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Anthony and Affleck’s three children – Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samual, 11 – with Garner, their families have tangled up since they tied the knot.
Lopez commended Affleck for being an incredible father, and earlier this month on “The View,” “Oh my God. He’s a great father. It brings tears to my eyes. Honestly, the best dad I’ve ever seen.”
